Scheduled Maintenance for Replacement of NICs

Over the last two days Faelix has encountered problems with the gigabit NIC connecting AS41495 to MaNAP. Twice the card has just "frozen" and on one occasion locked up the router. This feels similar to a problem with another, similar NIC which happened around three months ago. The card wasn't in use at the time (hot spare), so was removed and tested. It displayed similar symptoms and was found to be faulty. Therefore Faelix will replace both the misbehaving NIC and the one remaining NIC of the same brand/batch.

Colocated customers won't be affected as Faelix's core network will route around the maintenance. Customers whose virtual machines are hosted on the Xen server requiring maintenance have been contacted and offered the option to be migrated to another Xen server for the period of maintenance, or accept the short period of downtime (around 10 minutes) scheduled to be around midnight.
